.mp3 listen to flap
about Flap was born from a little wonderful ditty Pat did on the acoustic around November of 2000. I think it started with the ooompah (kick and closed hihat) intro and then we married some of Pat's other parts to it. This is another song (see 12, Babble, Delirious and Noggin) that kept it's temporary name.
source of sounds don - vox, drums, guitars, recorder pat - vox, guitars steve - bass
words I’ll find a way, to skip the day Hide my eyes from the porcupines He found you… You’re looking out, without a doubt Seeing things in a different way He knows you… Hang on to the ferris wheel Take in all you see You’re spinning round the world now Bound to find a seed You’re stuck up high, but feeling low Where you’re running, I don’t know I see you… You’re hands are tied, but your mind is free That’s ok man, it’s the way be I’ll show you… Hang on to the ferris wheel Take in all you see You’re spinning round the world now You’re bound to find a seed You’re letting go, but who’s to blame Your mother’s right, it’s all the same She sees you… I still care but you’re wasting time The end is near but don’t despair I found you…
