"I know you gave your Heisman Trophy to your brother Joey, what I would like to know is where is the trophy now?"

John Cappelletti - "For many years the trophy was at my parent's house outside Philadelphia but now I have it here in California."

"Are you married and do you have children? If so, how many children do you have?"

John Cappelletti - "I was married April 1977. My wife Betty and I have 4 sons: Nicholas 23; John Jr. 21; Thomas 18 and Joseph 13."

"Now that your football career is over what have you been doing with your life?"

John Cappelletti - "Since retiring from football with the SD Chargers I have been a General Contractor, Real Eastate Owner and Operator and now I am a partner in AlphaBio. We provide products + services to the Bio Tech Beverage Industry. I am also very involved in coaching at the youth levels"

"Do you enjoy living in California and do you ever travel back to PA? Do you miss living in PA?"

John Cappelletti - "I do get back about two times a year. My parents, brothers and sisters still live in the Philadelphia area. I think you always miss not living where you grew up."

"During your football career who was the teammate that you were closest to or looked up to the most?"

John Cappelletti - "When I was with the Rams I was closest to Bill Simpson, DB. We came in together and were the only 2 rookies to make the team that year. When I was with the Chargers I roomed with Rolf Bernershke, K. I admired Rolf very much because of what he had to overcome physically to be able to play."

"What are your most memorable moments as a Ram and as a Nittany Lion on and off the field?"

John Cappelletti - "At PSU: my senior teammates, Joe Paterno and winning the Heisman were most memorable and special. With the Rams it was being able to live my dream of playing in the NFL that was very special."

"You wore the number 22 throughout your career, was there any significance to wearing that number?"

John Cappelletti - "Not really. That was the number they gave me when I made varsity at Penn State."

"What do you miss most about playing in the NFL?"

John Cappelletti - "Being part of a group and working hard and seeing the results of that work in real time."

"As a child, what football player did you idolize or look up to?"

John Cappelletti - "Gino Cappeletti, K-WR of the Boston Patriots and Johnny Unitas, QB of the Baltimore Colts."

"Are there any additional comments you would like to make that would help your fans get to know you better?"

John Cappelletti - "I very much enjoyed playing for the Rams in L.A. and no matter how bad or good things were at specific points in time, the fans hung in there. They were just as happy or sad about the outcome of a game or the end of the season as the players and Rams organization were."
