Some the locations I could recognize were Williamsburg VA, Sydney, Whittier CA, Nova Scotia, Mount Mitchell, cruise ship with Yarmouth/Panama life preserver and more. A box of slides marked "Louisberg" that show people in Civil War-era costumes. I am assuming that this is Louisberg (now Nova Scotia, Canada) and that the pictures are from the Quebec Barracks or some other sites or events related to the war.

58 slides from a Tall Ships event, possibly in New England in 1980. There is a picture of State Street Bank which means the festival could have been in Boston or Chicago. Perhaps someone more familiar with cityscapes or Tall Ship Festivals could shed some light on the location for this date.

7 slides from 1983. Most are of a building being imploded. The building sign reads "The Madison." There is a advertisement on the building for Sea Crest Auto which offers "New England's biggest discounts." Another sign reads Charlestown, Mystic Bridge, Callahan Tunnel, Downtown Boston so clearly we are in or near Connecticut. I still don't know what the building is. It's large enough that there should be some record of it's demise. Later - and I found it: "May 15, 1983: In Boston, MA, the Madison Hotel was destroyed by implosion." click links for more pictures

Almost 200 slides from that undated slides, rolls of film that only included a few shots, friends and relatives etc. In fact, I would guess that a 3rd of the lot are of people. If you are a member of the Campbell family this is the lot you want. Also lots of pictures of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
