Subjects include perhaps activity related to an oil drilling, buffalo, women posing, children, the Nueces Hotel in Corpus Christi, Texas, some beautiful birds in a backyard cage and some blurry shots of some kids racing on the street in a sort of soap box derby.

Over 200 slides, some have reddened, of a trip West to Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado. While the bulk of the lot is of nature wonder (rocks) most of the samples I have posted are of either the girl featured in the Welcome To lot or of man made sites like the bridge of the Royal Gorge, town views and the Royal Gorge ski-lift ride.

There is an indoor party with people playing guitars and a nearly nude man dancing, toddler on the potty, an event at a red and white striped tent, performance or some other event on a stage, little girl on her tricycle with a Virginia license plate and the name SPLASH, some sort of demonstration - perhaps for operating a crane?, a hotdog/hamburger truck (frite pogo?) at some tourist cabins and more.

This is going to be a fun lot of about 1,400 slides from a family in Texas. None of the slides are labeled but I am assuming Texas because there are images of the Seeligson plant (Magnolia Petroleum Company) which is near Dallas. Some of the slides were processed by Studer's in San Antonio. There is a series of slides where the photographer is returning home from the Grand Canyon. He/she photographs a young girl in front of each "Entering State" sign right down to Texas. The landscape also looks Texasy.
